The Ask

Purolator needed new ways to reach customers outside its standard stores. The goal was to add convenient, flexible service points in high-traffic urban areas while also advancing sustainability initiatives.

The Action

Rodmell created two complementary formats. The Quick Stop self-serve kiosk offered 24/7 access in malls and other busy hubs. The Urban Quick Stop container pop-up provided a branded, mobile shipping hub that also housed Purolator’s e-bike fleet. We developed naming, branding, signage, and digital interfaces to ensure consistency and ease of use across both solutions.

Quick Stop Kiosk

In late 2019, Purolator launched Canada’s first Quick Stop kiosk at CF Toronto Eaton Centre. Shoppers could print labels, pay for shipping, and drop off parcels on the spot. Following its success, Rodmell supported a national rollout with consistent branding, signage and marketing materials.

Urban Quick Stop Pop-Up

We helped design and launch a shipping container pop-up in downtown Toronto. It offered parcel drop-off and pick-up, doubled as an e-bike hub, and reinforced Purolator’s sustainability leadership.

Expanding Access, Driving Innovation

Together, these pop-up solutions have expanded Purolator’s retail reach and strengthened customer engagement during critical peak periods. The extra access points helped Purolator handle surges in holiday parcel volume and make life easier for customers when it mattered most. By meeting consumers on their terms, the Quick Stop kiosks and Urban Quick Stop container have reinforced Purolator’s reputation as a forward-thinking leader in convenient, customer-centric shipping.
