ACCOUNT COORDINATOR

Job Summary

Reporting to the Group Account Director and working collaboratively with other team members, you will be responsible for supporting on a broad range of client work as well as internal functions.

The Account Coordinator provides overall day-to-day client service and support to ensure the effective execution of assigned projects, ranging from but not limited to, retail environmental, communications, graphics, packaging, and marketing design.

Responsibilities
  • Work under the guidance of more senior members of the Account team, including account managers/directors, with administrative tasks to assist them in:

    • the execution and rollout of all projects and programs ensuring projects stay on time and on task.

    • the creation and updating of status reports and work-back schedules to identify clear deliverables for project success.

    • the provision of administrative support on budgets and docket management.

    • learning relevant internal and client processes for assigned accounts to ensure understanding of unique needs associated with each account and client agreement.

  • Support the daily management of all client deliverables in the studio through effective communication with team members.

  • Activate and monitors the Studio team's progress through regular follow-up and touchpoints.

  • Action the required steps to ensure the smooth and accurate execution and rollout of multiple projects within established internal/external processes.

  • Flag potential issues to senior members of the team, in a timely fashion, with recommended solutions.

  • Support senior team members with the administrative tasks associated with securing 3rd party resources.

  • Conduct project deliverables QA - proofing and verification – ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Schedule ongoing project meetings with key internal and/or external stakeholders to advance project deliverables.

  • Take and circulate notes from internal and client meetings as required.

  • Support with client and industry intelligence gathering on an ongoing basis.

  • Continually look at opportunities for process improvement and exceeding client expectations on project deliverables.

  • Work with integrity on all projects and holds him/herself/themself accountable for delivering on expectations.

  • Seek feedback, listen, and act on feedback provided.

  • Work collaboratively to ensure that the work produced is consistently of the highest quality.

  • Trusted to work independently on projects in a fast-paced environment.

 

Qualifications and Experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Client Services in an Agency environment.

  • A University or College degree.

  • Knowledge and experience in the retail industry an asset.

  • Ability to demonstrate teamwork skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, an ability to deal effectively with people at all levels of responsibility.

  • A personality and attitude suited to an intense, dynamic, fun, open work environment.

  • Online Marketing/Communications Experience, including Social Media.

  • Technically proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project (or similar), and Word.

  • Demonstration of exceptional presentation (PowerPoint) and writing skills.

  • Proficiency with project/task management systems such as Wrike or Microsoft Planner.
